How to Operate The Tranquilo Mat

Materials Needed:

  • AA Batteries (not included): The Large Tranquilo Mat requires 4 AAs and the Small Tranquilo Mat requires 2 AAs. Battery length is estimated at 60-hours. We recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries.
  • #2 Phillips Screwdriver

Step by Step Instructions: Inserting batteries

  1. To access the battery back, pull back the Tranquilo Mat cotton cover.
  2. Locate the zipper found at the end of the Tranquilo Mat’s black water resistant interior and unzip to access battery pack.
  3. Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw found on the outside of the battery back. Place the screw aside.
  4. Slip the battery back cover open. Insert the appropriate amount of batteries in correct position.
  5. Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver to replace and tighten the screw.
  6. Locate the “On/Off” switch found on battery back and turn switch to “On” position.
  7. Replace battery back into the Tranquilo Mat, close zipper, and replace cotton cover.

Step by Step Instructions: Turning Tranquilo Mat “On/Off” and Changing Vibration Level  

  1. To turn Tranquilo Mat on, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  2. The Tranquilo Mat starts at the lowest vibration setting. There are four levels of vibrations and two heartbeat setting. To change the setting, press the “M” button. The vibrations will increase per each button press then to switch to heartbeat modes and eventually back to the lowest vibration setting  
  3. To turn Tranquilo Mat off, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.

Step by Step Instructions: Activating the 60-Minute Shut Off

  1. Turn Tranquilo Mat, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  2. After Tranquilo Mat turns on, continue to hold the power button for an additional 5 seconds until you feel a pulse that indicates the 60-minute shut off is activated.
